Dominican Republic Announces New Headliners at Paradise Music and Arts Festival

The Dominican Republic today announced that the internationally acclaimed artist Tiësto will perform at the fifth twelve-monthly festival “The Paradise Music & Arts,” set to occur in Cap Cana, DR, on December 20 and 21.

This multi-stage, multi-experiential event will feature a thrilling and evolving lineup of practically 50 artists, four interactive art activities and almost 40 chefs.

The two-day time event-an integration of regional culture, flavor and sound-celebrates the Dominican Republic and reinforces its position as a premier tourist attraction.

“We’re proud to showcase the hospitality of our culture and welcome fans to The Paradise 2019, which will feature star-studded performances, immersive art experiences, and a culinary feast,” said Pablo Pou, CEO of PAV Events.

This year, attendees can get a stacked lineup of A-list artists across three stages spanning various genres. Local artists include Dominican DJ and maker Miguel Duarte, the neighborhood trio Mula, growing pop superstar Leton Pe, localized gem Martin Domene and up-and-comer DJ and maker Omar Andino.

Headliners on the “Live” level include Puerto Rican reggaeton superstar Negative Bunny, known perfect for his collaboration with Cardi B and J Balvin on “I Love It.” He’ll become a member of by Colombian singer and rapper Maluma, who crossed over into the mainstream pop realm dealing with Madonna and Shakira. Rounding out the headliners for the ‘Live level’ happens to be the Latin trap phenomenon Anuel AA and West Coastline rapper, Tyga.

On the ‘Dance’ Stage, multiple platinum makers/DJ Marshmello can make his come back for his second performance at The Paradise, alongside dance superstars Martin Garrix, Alesso and globe record-breaking DJ Steve Aoki.

Since it initially started out in 2014, The Paradise-formerly referred to as Electric powered Paradise-has featured performers like Cardi B, J Balvin and Major Lazer. Treat this year’s full lineup right here.

The festival may also include immersive art experiences, featuring 4 interactive art experiences, a shade display, a hammock installation, dome structures and “Instagrammable” seating like sunbeds and large letters that entice people to photograph.

Among the art, activities include SUBHAZE 4:3, an audiovisual set up and overall performance that explores the architecture of audio and light through frequency and spatial ratios. Individuals will become invited to enter a holographic cube framework for an immersive setup, where SUBHAZE will perform live past due evening.

Rooted in the fact that food tastes perfect when enjoyed together, Meals Town will incorporate 36 chefs to produce a communal dining encounter with a deliciously varied menu.
